EPMG was quickly outgrowing the office building it owned and occupied, and turned to MAVD for assistance. In an advisory capacity, MAVD identified alternative office solutions for EPMG that included selling their office property, leasing a different property, ground-up development of a new office, and renovation of their existing building. A comparative analysis identified the economics and practical considerations of all scenarios.
EPMG chose to renovate their existing building, using MAVD architectural services, project management services, and construction negotiation. The project involved detailed planning and scheduling to minimize business interruption, and included successful negotiation of a new lease to relocate a third-party tenant to allow for expansion.
