South State Commons III

This distinctive two-story office building is located in the heart of the south Ann Arbor office district. The structure was built in 1988, acquired and fully renovated by MAVD in 2008, and then repositioned as South State Commons III in MAVD’s three-building campus. Meticulous attention to detail during the renovation process ensured design continuity between all three buildings in the South State Commons campus. South State Commons III features a visually striking metal-clad canopy, generous contemporary lobby with sky lights, elegant curved stairs, and an inviting visitor seating area. A convex wall of windows on the east side of the building offers views of the adjacent water features and lush greenbelt.
