Plymouth Lakes

In 1999, MAVD led the acquisition of this 78-acre land parcel in Plymouth Township at the prime intersection of 5 Mile Road and Haggerty Road, and bounded by M-14 and I-275. With 4,200 feet of expressway frontage and a traffic count in excess of 190,000 vehicles per day, this prime location enjoys some of the highest visibility in the region. MAVD planned and entitled the site to accommodate a 640,000 SF office campus including integrated wetlands and natural features.

In 2002, prior to commencing construction, MAVD sold the entitled property to the Robert Bosch Corporation. In 2005, the company opened the Bosch Plymouth Township Technical Center housing R&D and engineering space for its automotive electronics, including predictive safety systems and driver assistance technologies.
